Waffen-SS M40 single decal helmet with original attached inner ring and liner. The maker mark looks to be to the neck area, however, both, maker's mark and lot number are barely redable.
The prongs are still very flat and show rust. The rivets and the liner is definitely original to this helmet. Both were never changed.
The liner looks to be size 56. It is partially dry, has bits misssing but is still flexible.
The shell comes with full "rough" factory paint which is typical for a wartime helmet. It comes with an original "SS" decal attached. There is some rust to the paint. The decal is about 80%.
