A superb M1935 Heer single decal combat helmet that has been camouflaged in a textured green finish. The helmet is a « EF68 » with the lot number « 21577 ». The helmet's exterior retains well over 95% of a medium sawdust based green combat finish that is applied by hand. Normal to light amounts of scuffs and scraps. Split pins are intact and retain the vast majority of the same textured finish. They are secured to the helmet. The Heer decal has nicely been painted around, rates over 98% and exhibits nice toning. The helmet's interior is in overall excellent condition. The leather liner is in very good condition, supple and retains its original drawstring. The liner is ink stamped « 60 » for size along one of the tongue tips. The original leather chinstrap is present, supple and nicely maker marked and dated « Heinrich Sohn K Neu-Ulm 1942 ». An excellent example of a sawdust textured German combat helmet with a very pleasing and attractive look.
