Extremely rare M38 paratrooper helmet in undisturbed, as found condition. Shows with a really great, green and field grey cammoflage paint scheme. The luftwaffe eagle is visible beneath the paint but well subdued withthe cammo effect. This helmet had a cammo net on it originally.
The shell is ET68 marked and also shows the stamp "934". The revets on the outside match the cammo paint and their patina clearly tells they have not been opened. The helmet is equipped with a size 58 marked liner that is complete.. The liner's markings displaying the helmet size and the liner size as well as the FW Müller JR are exactly as you would want to see them.
First pattern chin straps from soft leather are complete with some cracking and rust to the fittings.
The foam padding is all present and overall this is a really great untouched piece.
