A German M18 helmet. Basically, a WW1 period time designed helmet model which was however rarely issued again after 1935 to both Heer and Luftwaffe soldiers. The helmet still comes with a WW1 period time style liner and inner metal ring.
This example comes with full period time fieldgrey (brushed) paint. The shell however shows signs of wear, age and some rust.
Decals: there is one swastika decal applied. it is still about 90%. The other side is blank and there never was another decal attached.
This helmet is most probably SD or police!
The liner is still flexible. The prongs of the rivets were never opened. The liner is original to the shell.
